DESCRIPTION OF THE ROUTE

From the center of Abbiategrasso (Trenord railway station) you reach Castelletto and continue, always on the cycle path, along the Naviglio di Bereguardo towpath. Once you reach Coronate, cross the Naviglio and continue along country roads up to Rosate. Cross the town and exit in the direction of Noviglio. Here you have to travel along a fairly busy provincial road for a few kilometres. From Noviglio a beautiful cycle path reaches the center of Binasco di Binasco.
In Binasco, in addition to the beautiful Castle, you can visit the very interesting MUMAC (Coffee Machine Museum) at the La Cimbali factory (mumac.it).

DESCRIPTION OF THE ROUTE

Relaxing route that combines history, nature and agriculture. Easy route that from Piazzetta dei Cistercini, in the shadow of the bell tower of the Morimondo Abbey, leads to the Cascine across the Naviglio, obligatory stops for some photos at the canal basins, hydraulic engineering works that allowed navigation using manually operated locks for the change in water level. The route leads to the small village of Fallavecchia, evidence of the ancient settlement/farmhouse, then leads to the Zelata forest, another enchanting place in the Ticino Park. From Bereguardo you return north across the canal, then reach Besate and Cascina Caremma among canals, fields and poplar groves. Along the agricultural road, bordered by irrigation canals and bordered by rice fields (in spring they look like lakes!) we will return to the starting point: Morimondo, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.
